Though beach resorts and restaurants may have sprouted up in place of farms, the local Historical Society works hard to keep a record of the past and the town arboretum—known as the Tree Zoo—remains a testament to the area’s diverse ecosystem.

Just south of Boca Raton, the city of Deerfield Beach brims with charm on both land and water.
